Is this that "one minute of life support per bottle cap"?

I've been trying to find this one on snopes since I heard about it first a couple of months ago. Who would base life support on a per minute basis?..... "Sorry folks outta bottle caps - gotta unplug him"

Apparently some of the local schools caught word of this and are actually doing it...

It isn't just the schools (although I think that is where my offending party is getting it from). Wal Mart is doing it as well.

I've been scouring Snopes for the last hour trying to find something about it. I hate this bullshit.

We're completely surrounded.
When I get a stupid spam email from friends/family/coworkers I send them the snopes link (and usually a commentary) disproving the email.

People just don't use common sense anymore, and they don't educate themselves and they research nothing. The more outlandish and scandalous an email/gossip is the more they believe it and spread it further.
It drives me crazy.

I would love to do this, but most of my forwards come from my mom and my boss.
